**How many miles are you supposed to put on your car every month? **

I had my car since October...So thats like 9 months or so... I have 5,500 miles...

Is it supposed to be like 1,000 per month? I was told 1,000 by one person, and 1,200 by another... does anyone know the real numbers

I'm about to break 30,000 in 1.75 years so that averages out to 1,500 a month, a little high I believe...

I drove about...

18500 miles in the first year...so that's a little over 1500 a month.

I may be on the low side

I have had mine since April 15th, 2000 and I just turned 19,000 miles on mine. In the first 5 months I had 6000 miles though.

well the reason i asked this question is because i do not plan to keep my car forever... therefore when i sell it, its better to have low miles then high miles... you will get more money for the car, wether you sell it to a dealership or on the street...
