Chrome Bubbling!!

The chrome on my rims is bubbling on the lip. The bubbles are very small and there are more on the front rim and very few on the back rim. My friend said that I need to get a cooler braking system with Drilled Rotors and he thinks it is the heat from the brakes causing the bubbles, could this be true? Is there anything I can put on the rims to protect them from bubbling?

Thanks!

Not true....

Could be from brakedust... Only solution is to clean your wheels more often, or get dustless pads (which suck btw)

Re-chrome your wheels and put wax on them as a protecting layer. Then clean them every other day
