Someone cut my keys!!!

Looks like my title hooked you in. Anyone in the Chicagoland area know where to get my new key blank cut? I've been calling around and as soon as they hear "BMW" they cut me off and tell me to go to the dealership thinking they'll cut an eBay key.

You may be able to get someone to cut the key but it needs the right chip to start the car, so you end up with a door key. The e46 door locks are not very good and don't hold up to manual locking and unlocking. Get new diamond key fob, it will cost more but it will work. http://thebmwminipartstore.com/parts...&siteid=218365

Yeah, I've thought about buying from them already. I'm transferring my transponder over to the diamond key or maybe even getting an Ak90 myself and coding keys to my car and even future cars.
