Xenons problem after DRL's turned off
Hello all:
yesterday I went to the dealer to have the Daytime Running Lights turned off as I think they look stupid. Took all of 2 minutes, and that's pushing it. Anyway, tonight I was driving, and I feel like my lights are too...low for lack of a better word. When driving on the highway, I cannot see far enough in front of me to be comfortable. I feel like I always need high beams on. My headlights, when I am parked on level ground, do not reach much farther than the fog lights. This can't be normal, can it? Any advice much appreciated. Kind of off the subject, but I just installed my Schnitzer suspension today (springs, struts, shocks, and all), and man, what a pleasure. BY FAR, THE BEST LOWERING KIT ON EARTH!!! The ride is better than stock (and I had the sport suspension). Thanks for all the great posts everyone... -craig |

Are you certain you didn't break the control arm for the autoleveling when you lowered your car?

I know all about that...

It Could Easily Be...
When you lower your car your headlights point more downward, especially with xenons. You might have to adjust your xenon leveling sensor behind your lights(not too familiar exactly where it's at) and that should be your problem. Or you could have broken the leveling sensor(which is extremely and too easy to do) when installing your springs. Or option 3 the dealer did mess them up but I don't think thats the case. If you don't know much about how to adjust I say ask someone on here to help or worst case go back to the dealer and they'll fix it in 2 seconds.

Does anyone know where the control arm for the autoleveling assembly is??? 300Cic?????????? It is VERY possible that the tech broke it while installing the springs.
