Pmmeke - How did your shop get the OEM motor swap into your Hagus? I'm trying to have my bodyshop do it to mine to get the mirror memory function back, but they are saying it can't be done! Any help would be much appreciated

hmm i was not there when he did it. I admit i have no memory function in my car that controls the mirrors. So i dont know for sure if thats the way he mounted it. What i meant was i can control the mirrors with my oem electric system and as a recal it he just told me he swapped the motors.

the shop thats doing up my car right now has a all RD 330ci with the front and rear tornado bumpers, rd sides, but... somehow got his hands on new RD front fenders that no one has anywhere that i've seen. these things look sick, its like 2 large scoops on each side. i'll post pics if his car is done being painted anytime soon, but i can tell you from the pics that its sick , but another thing they told me was that RD's **** is always a pain to fit right on the cars

rd ****

I must admit that that statment is right. Not only that ...if you buy bumpers from bmw for example the surfice of the bumper is kinda smood.

RD one is very ruff. You have to pay for extra hours to smooden them with manual rubbing before you put the paint on. I mean its realy a lot of work to do a good job.

Love to c those sick pics. Cant wait. I am a rd fanatic

Ya got that right! A LOT of extra fiberglass/bondo work was needed for my bumpers...they came all cracked, chipped pieces, etc...looked nasty in the beginning, but my paint/body shop did a great job on getting them to look good!

When i fixed my car i had the same thoughts for a while. The wife said whell you have to replace the front whell...make a new model for my car, thats cool, that way it seems brand new but in the end i decided i liked the 2OO1 hood and front lights more and decided to let it stay.

Cant help it, for me the 2OO1 model is nicer then 2OO2

Hey thanks for the pics on mirrors. That helps alot since there is minimal information on the website about the mirrors. Do you have to replace the motor or anything. Does it retain all the functionality of the stock ie: reverse tilt, memory functionality

Those of you with the Tornado front end, are you using the inlets as an air intake? Just curious if you got some kind of custom intake to make use of the two holes, or if they just go into the engine bay or what.

I'm thinking about doing the R/D Tornado kit as well, but I wouldn't want to have holes for the sake that it looks cool.

No, I'm not using the air duct holes for anything more than show right now...I plan on extensive engine mods this summer, so they will be used then!
