is it possible to make are 3.0 liter engines close to the 3.2 m3 engine naturally asp
our engine size is 3.0 liters and the m3 is 3.2...is it possible without doing a turbo or a supercharger to make it as fast and powerful as the m3 engine?

This one has Samir written all over it... You could definitely increase the size of the engine and by swapping out the internals of the engine, make one hell of a car. But it would probably cost as much or more then forced induction. And from what I've heard so far... doesn't look like turboing a 330 is gonna happen anytime soon... so that leaves SCing.... good luck! B

Shorter stroke, maybe slightly bored and you could easily get 3.5L with more HP nat. asp.

The 3.2 is a race bred engine and really doesnt have much in common with the 3.0, so basically, no. I guess if you could find a stroked crank, and it fit, you'd have the same displacment.

With all the bolt-ons => cams/head/headers/ECU/intake/exhaust/hi-flow cats, the 3.0 is capable of 300-315 HP and can generate slightly more torque than the M3.
