Supposedly, there was a group buy going on at DTM forums I think. I emailed the guy who was running the group buy and the price was down to $280 I think. I want to see some of the daytime pics and then make a decision, that is, if I can still get into the group buy.

Left Light Box. This is the one everyone is concerned about becuase of the heat generated. the Metal box can be felt with barehands after use. so it doesnt have any melting issues with the fluid reservoir.

Thanks for the new pics! Are the light boxes mounted to anything or do they just kinda sit there? Also, I wonder how they will be if exposed to any water?

trust me, even on the 5er, the rings are not really noticable in direct sunlight....I have a feeling someone else is going to chime in on this issue

Looking good mike.....give me a call next time you're in the area, I want to check them out

Not to say this is the case with these, but camera exposure has a huge impact on how bright the lights look in the pics. Taking a longer exposure will make them look much brighter. The only real way to tell how bright they are will be to see them in person.

i had already joined the group buy, but i have just one concern and that is the wiring. i was wondering where everyone hooked it up to. cuz i noticed in the pictures that it was hooked up to the daytime runing lights so the middle one are the only one that lights up. is there any other solution where i can have it on when ever i want? i had the UUC LED version but was never installed. they also recommend something like the parking lights? would that work in my situation? TIA

I brought mines to a car stereo shop and had them wire the angel eyes using a switch to turn them on and off whenever I wanted too. That can be another option if you do not want to wire them to your corners or daytime running lights.

your right. i compared it to a 5er standing in direct sunlight, and it looked almost the same. you cant really see the 5ers halos either. I'm trying to get another filter for them, IS300 fog light yellow, i seen a pic of it on bekkers i believe. it looked awsome and it'll stand out with that kind of yellow. hopefully i can have this soon.

Dame Hoang, i was just up there doing a Final. but didnt see your post. I'll call u up next time when I'm in the area.
