The tint that came with the car is too lite for Miami.
Since I have a silver car, I am going with 75% metalic. What should I watch out for when I look for shops to retint my windows? I think they will charge me a fee for taking off the original tint. Is removing the tint something I can do myself with removal kit? |

If you are referring to the factory tint...there is no tint to take out.
If you bought this car used and it had an aftermarket tint...then I would think the tint shop would not charge to take it out and re-tint it. BTW, 75% is too light in my opinion...go with 20% to 30%...I'm not even sure if there is such thing as 75% tint

I know in some countries there are 75% tint for the windshield, but for the rest of the windows you'll want at least 50%.

If you live in Florida...
get either 15 or 20 percent. 35 percent is legal, but too light. Limo is 5 percent but way too dark. i have the 15 and I really like it.

Howdy folks,
I am new in town. My last car was a Maxima that had a nice dot-matrix tint band running across the top of the rear glass that tint could not stick too w/o a good bit of bubbling. Is this phenom present w/ the 3-series? Thanks. |

Don't the windows already come with a slight tint to it?...I don't mean a window film, but I think the glass comes pre-treated with something...it's not like you have a clear glass.

Anyway, with a silver car, I will go full reflective... (not mirror since that's illegal). Hopefully the pictures will show. Banjo... what an interesting name... |
