New to the board/new to the car

Hi all,

Got a new 330ci with the M package. Couldn't afford the real deal. Where should I start with Mods? I'd like to get some bang for the buck horsepower. Apparently the Dinan chip doesn't do much. Should I start with the exhaust or something else?

Thanks for your help. I'm new to this whole mod thing and I'm going to be getting everything piece by piece.

Cheers.

Welcome fellow E46er. The first mod should of course be mirrors. The OEM coupe mirrors are nasty. Too big.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

Ya, I was thinking CAI and exhaust. Anyone know a nice exhaust that sounds nice and throaty but isn't crazy loud?

welcome....if you are looking for best bang for the buck...get the ECIS intake...as for exhaust, thats more of personal taste on which type of sound you are looking for...

Forgot to mention: the m package has the m suspension so I guess that's why it looks lower than most.

If you're looking for a nice deep exhaust note that isn't too loud, I suggest the UUC TSE. It is an amazing exhaust, I love the sound and the pipes look awesome. Welcome to the board.

Hahaha, I'm actually outside the car taking the picture as it sits in the parking lot. In other words, it's standing still... a little photoshop work...

I'll post some pics of all the M package cosmetics. Basically it's front end, rear end side, sport seats, steering wheel, trim, roof liner, footrest and entry sill trims.
