Gruppe M Intake

Hey fellas,

I'm looking for my next mod. and am wondering about the Gruppe M Intake mod. What are the benefits are they significant and at $ 1000 bucks are there any alternatives?

Wait for the CSL airbox to be released..if it's not already

I've heard from mulitple people that they feel either NO gain, or that they LOST power from a 1300.00 Gruppe M intake...

Check the Group Buy Forum, I think that there is a group buy on until the end of Dec for $465 from RennSport

I noticed you're lucky enough to drive an M. I don't know if the require a different CAI?

I the post's I've read about CAI suggest that spec for spec all cold air intakes are pretty much the same.

But, GruppeM looks and sounds the best!

I don't have one yet, so this is all hear say, but I am buying one.

the gruppeM intake is completely different for the M3 than the other e46 models, so that 465 dollars does not apply to him.

It's been independently dyno'd between 8-10 RWHP...check out M3forum.com for more info, they'll be able to give you better insight.
