Just curious, why are you selling this? Not happy with performance? I've thought about getting an ECIS intake, but I'm still researching/lookin' around.

I love the intake, but I'm selling or trading my car soon and I figured I'd get more money out of selling the intake as opposed to giving it away with the vehicle.

This is NOT an ad for my intake but if I had it to do all over again I would buy a used intake since the only wear and tear part (the air filter) is guaranteed by K&N for 1,000,000 miles. Save $100 to spend on another mod. My $0.02.

Is it still for sale? Is the filter clean? How did your intake perform in the hot, Tx weather. I see that you're from College Station, and I'm up in Austin, so if I buy a new one, is it worth it? Also, did the dealer give you any flack for using this? Thanks.

I haven't cleaned the filter since I haven't used it long enough to reach the cleaning interval. The intake performed well for me. I appreciated the extra kick it gave the car and the (marginally) improved fuel economy. It also made the engine sound more potent. I really miss the ECIS since removing it from my car and going back to the stock airbox. Though I've never measured the difference in air temperature between the stock intake and the ECIS I'd say that it did a good job of cooling the air. Email me for pictures.

The dealer never said anything about having the intake on my car. I don't know if this is typical or if I was just lucky. At the same time, I have a good relationship with my SA.
