i have a 1999 328I and it has a manual tranny i want to do a tranny swap for a steptronic will this work if so i guess i will have a manual tranny for sale or if you wanna trade me the steptronic for the manual. is swapping from manual to auto reliable and costly or is is straight forward. if you could e mail me with details at ppdhoot@aol.com thanks Prem

Thats awesome man, how much was damage from start to finish, parts to labor? I got an auto-step and recently learned how to drive manual and really regret not getting a manual, now considering swapping out tranny.
