Glad to hear that he had a backup plan. Suppose he didn't have that cable or forgot to install it? I wonder how he would have been able to get into the trunk. Good that he thought about it.

Hopefully those who plan on doing some thing like this will consider a plan that will enable them to be able to get to the battery should it be completely dead.

If you hook up jumper cables to the terminals under the hood, you will have enough power to open the trunk.

Look what I've found in ebay, WIDE ANGLE 92 degree rear view camera Model CW131076C and they also have better quality and wider view angle 102 degree CW134076C CCD Model and it has much better picture in darker environtment (Minimum Illumination 0.5 LUX / F:2.0 )..., the best what I've found yet.

I am thinking to get the CCD model now.....

Hey, I bought Camera #3 from the seller "Elishorki" on ebay. The picture was pretty good on the camera when I had the car, but it wasn't crystal if that is what your looking for, but the camera fit perfectly into the trunk keyhole. I believe that I posted some pictures in this thread of what the camera clarity looked like. I hope this helps you out. Thanks -Michael.

So with keyhole cameras like this, is there *any* play in how you're able to angle the camera, so that it points a little more down (to show the area directly behind the car that you can't see in the rear view mirror)?

If not, does anyone have links to cameras that would mount underneath the trunk handle above the license plate?

Anyone recently do this mod? I would like to find a camera the proper size so I can just drop it in place.
