Never. There always is a way.
Sleep on it and see what you think tomorrow.

Take a pic if you need more thinking from us.

I know this is not a good time to be saying this

But try to never work in anger.
Go in the house and have cookies and milk and take a break.

Well today I finished installing the new CA. Sorry no pics.Yesterday I decided not even to go into the garage. Today I lower the engine by removing the 4 bolts for the support bar and used a 9" metal blade on a recip. saw and cut the top of bolt off. The piece from the CA then just fell right out. I tightened everything back up install the new CA and went for a drive. No problems.

I just read this whole thread. Ill be doing this DIY this weekend with the Powerflex Urethane bushings. I have to ask since I read a few things that made me nervous in this thread... has anyone else have any bad experiences with this bushing? This is not the prefitted bushing, I will be doing this on my own. Also, have they been redesigned since the first reports of them coming out on their own?

The number of times that it has been reported that anyone had any trouble are next to nothing. So many have had nothing but great success.

So for the XI, the outter ball joint if bad the entire control arm has to be replaced. Correct?

If the inner one is bad then the bushing can be replaced, what exactly is the bushing part # for just the bushing piece? What I find on realOEM appears to be the actual bushing and bracket.

Is only powerflex bushing the ones you can get seperately but if you wanted OEM rubber you need to buy entire bracket?

Use the powerflex bushings...easy to install...plus if u have to replace a control arm...u can pull off the arm, install the new CA and slide the Powerflex bushings back on

I bought new CA and bushings. I have everything apart and cannot for the life of me get the CA to come loose. Everything is down but I cannot get the bolt from the outer ball joint to fall. I got the nut off but the bolt will not fall through. I've sprays WD40 on it and let it soak but just can't beat this thing out. Any suggestions or tricks to get it to fall through?

Are you using a pickle fork?

And what weight hammer are you using?

These are serious questions. It's made to not let go easily for obvious reasons.
