Glass scratch remover??

As you know, winter and ice sucks. I kinda put a few scratches on my front windshield using the ice scraper and wanted to know if there is anyway to remove these scratches? Any type of window wax to get these scratches out? Another thing is it's right in front of the driver

Not sure how to get an actual scratch out of glass. However, are you sure you scratched it? It is pretty damn difficult to scratch window glass with plastic. You should check to see if maybe you just left some plastic remnants on the windshield that appears to be a scratch. You might try rubbing it with a solvent soaked rag. Try acetone or Goo Gone and rub for a few minutes. It might come off. Good luck!

Yeah, I'm sure it a scratch. I saw a tv commercial with a scratch remover for eye glasses. I'm not sure if the same stuff can work on the windshield?

I heard this company makes good glass scratch removal kits. I am going to try it on mine. The metal blade edge scratched it...

Try your free glass replacement on your auto policy if you have one. Get your BMW dealer to install it, though, not Safelite. My windshield was pitted from so many highway miles and I told GEICO it needed to be replaced - no problemo - no inspection - just had the dealer do it and ill them.
