Turbo, Centrifugal, Roots or Twin-Screw... wich do you feel is the best .. ?
Twin-Screw Blowers are exspensive bacause of the machining and precision needed... not to mention the plumbing... but the results are the best of both worlds IMO.
Uber flat torque curves that mirror you engine, just with huge deltas and instant boost... constant too. No lag, no SLAM! ... just prodigeous power !! Whats your guys take on these new offering for the BMW market from EUROSPORTS and Stimpee .. . . ??

forgot to add...
also, they are proven to be extremely reliable... plus you have John Conforti writing the software for the T/S.
Cannot go wrong there ...!! Here some charts: http://www.eurosporthighperformance....0XX%20stg1.pdf

Actually, supercharger kits (twinscrew or centrifugal) are basically cheaper than turbo kits because of less parts and also easy installation. There is very little to no plumbing involved.
True that twinscrew kits are reliable and are more efficent than roots and centrifugal type blowers. Just make sure the self contained oil is at the proper level. Its not John Conforti but Jim Conforti that does the software. Unfortunately there are no E46 kits at this time.. the same goes for the turbo kits. Turbos generally makes the most torque and torque is fun. |

I've heard from both Josh and Stimpee that they'll be working on the E46 330 kits right after they release their E36 M3 kits. Hopefully soon, like this summer.
Heard from ATP, and their E46 turbo kit is still delayed, possibly up to a year. (2nd hand information) ASA/Rennsport should have software tuning done and release ECU software for their SK1 SC kit by end of this month. Unless I get some firm release dates for a twin-screw kit, I'll probably be going with the ASA kit when their ECU software is developed. If all kits were immediately available, My choice would be 1-twin screw, 2- turbo, 3- cent-SC.

oops, yes Jim Conforti... funny thing was I was talking to a John on the phone while I was typing that post..lol
/agree Torque is fun ..!! But I think this new T/S will equal the turbos torque curves or surpass it....!! Just cannot wait to see the dynos of the 330ci (M54) version before I spend $$ on FI..!!

If you have read any of my previous posts, then this might sound like a stupid question. Is the twin screw type of supercharg that is on the new Ford GT40. If not how does one of these work.

Yep, thats the twin-screw alright...!!
Pretty Nifty design. Now all they have to do is come out with it for the M54 and we will be able to hold our own with vette's.
