Supercharged PPL help.What times does a 323 s/c run?
I am contemplating adding a supercharger as some of you might alreay know. I was wondering what kind of numbers a 323ci puts up with an AA kit. I think they rate it a 260 rwhp and 212 ft-lbs rw.
I have the stock 3.07 differential. Also, does the stock clutch handle the power ok? And how bad is wheelspin with our sh!tty open diffs. Thanks. |

Allthough I'm not running on "standard" SC + my clutch is using some of my hp to warm up the air... When I get the stage 3 clutch and a UUC lw flywheel installed, I'll take her to a strip. Then we'll know! Until then...5'ish

Do you think it will be as fast as an e36 m3?
It makes more power than an e36 m3 bu i don't know what the gearing implications are. Thanks. |

Really though, I think stock E36 M3 autos run high 14's, or very low 15's. 0-60 in the low to mid 6's. Similar to, I'd say, a 328 5 speed, or a bit faster than a 330 auto (keep in mind that the E36 did not have double VANOS and resultant torque curve, so the 330's lack of peak power in comparison is compensated for by better power curve). Probably a tad faster than either. Stock manual 323 runs in the mid 15's with a good driver. I guess it's believable if you're running a 3.46 diff, CAI, ECU and exhaust. Maybe, just maybe, it could be done without the diff...but it would be close. To stay on topic: from what I've seen, supercharged 323's will run in the mid 5's 0-60, and low-mid 14's in the 1/4.

The only reason I asked if it's as fast as an M3 is because my brother used to have one. He had an e36 4door M3 5 speed and I LOVED it. It was as fast as I would ever like......i think. hehehe.

Not really sure how fast it runs but probably 5.6 - 5.8 range...low 5s might be too optimistic. |

I'm sure you are, cause a SC'ed 323 would tear up a 330... I've known of one perfectly tuned one that beat e46 M3's...

Of course I'm joking (at least until I SC my car).
The best 0-60 i've gotten is 5.6sec
