This a simple DYI, simple being it is plug-and-play.
Correct me if I am wrong about anything above. I do have some questions though. Will these have auto-leveling capabilities? What are the difference between buying these versus OEM (aside from the fact these have the halos preinstalled), and the cheaper price ()?

Edits: More questions! Will there be a possible discount on price if we can come pick them up (versus paying shipping)? This kit still comes with everything we need to run a switch into our car so we can turn the halos on/off, right?
I think everything you said is correct. Matt is offering us non xenon people a chance to get HIDs with projectors and with DDE at a great price. These will come with everything installed in the houseing so all you have to do is take your existing one out and put this in. Im sure it will not have auto leveling since its not OEM, plus that would be more money and is useless with this setup. Also with the HIDs option, all you would have to do is plug your existing H7 plug into the HIDs which should not trip any dash light as it would if you upgraded from non xenon to OEM xenon. As for the DDE im sure it will hook up same as if you were to buy it seprately and custom switch can be added. Im sure if Im not correct on this, Matt will fill you in.

The question I have is how will the HIDs ballast be placed with these headlight housing? Will the black trim be same as OEM so I can swap my silver trim into this setup....

I cant wait to see more pics of the housing itself and closer picture of the projectors.

Charlie

Hello umnitza,

I am wondering - what is the brand/manufacturer of the HID bulbs and the ballasts? (I know you said it's not OEM, but no brand was given.)

It's really undetermined when they will or even ever be available

HIDS are determined at this time, but we cannot reveal them just yet.

We have some issues that may have arisen, nothing that delays the product, but things we have to work through.

They are on the site now, however, they are not there reflecting the price discount that will be given to E46fanatics members ONLY.

We are still trying to setup a coupon code that only E46 fanatics owners will know.

While the pictures are identical on Coupe and Sedan, look for the C or the S (or just check the model number).

If you are "itching" and want to submit deposits, please note the arrival date of this product is exactly 1 month from now. That is when things are going to start shipping.
So, if you want to put your deposit in, you may pay using paypal the stated amounts above, and factor in $22 for shipping.

paypal@umnitza.com - we are only going to accept full payment for deposits.

5000K if you want output.
6000K if you want the bluish tinted light.

No, the web site is not a discount, we're working on a discount code for E46fanatics buyers.

We still haven't included the 3 other options for sedans, that will be later tonight.

Umnitza, yes it's on your site now but it does not reflect the actual price you quoted above. But I understand I should just pay the amount you did quote. OK. But I am also not a member of your site, and it seems that there is some problem with your site regardinge IE6. Soooo what to do?

We are still working through the registration process for Canadian buyers.

What you can do is just register like you are from the US, and then when you do a check out, you can provide your shipping and billing information correctly.

It's just an issue with account creation.

As for pricing on the site, it's not ready yet because we need confirmation for when they products will be arriving, then we will adjust the pricing on the site accordingly.

No facelifts for now.
