Anyone want to trade 275 for 285 S03s?

My brand new unmounted 285/30/19 tires for your brand new unmounted 275/30/19 tires. I'll just do straight trade if you are in SoCal... if I have to ship then you pay shipping

Are they too wide or rubbing with your current setup?

yea, because of the system my car is too low and I rub on the passenger side, so that's why I want 275s, but Bridgestone sent me 285s...

I run 285's without too much of a problem right now, but I don't have a nice system as yours in the rear. Do you think I will have a problem once I drop the car? Plus my Cabrio is heavy enough in the rear . I am ordering Bilsteins PSS9's for them. Just haven't had time to think about dropping the car until now. I am on my last set of 275's and have a set of 285's waiting to be mounted when I burn out the 275's. I have tried to order another set of the SO3's and they are on backorder for a long time now. I heard the factory in Japan burned down and they are in short supply.

P.S. Awesome car. One of the first I read about when I decided to switch to BMW from Porsche. I wanted an open top at the time, perhaps due to the fact it was nice outside . I am looking into getting an 01/02 M5 or 02/03 M3 Coupe for show. I miss the competition from years ago.

Hey man, thanks for the compliments! Really appreciate it. I'm not sure if you would have a problem with 285s. I have read about people who run 285s and are lowered and don't rub, but unfortunately I'm not one of them. I don't have the patience or time to figure out how to get them to work, so I'd just rather get 275s.

I was into the scene back in the mid 90's. I am 34 - feel like am old since I have been around the auto scene for a long time and then dropped out to be a student and become a grown up I will always mod cars but don't get crazy like I used to.

I showed several Honda Accords for Sound Competition and show cars - won some events and spent way too much time sitting around my friends audio shop and too much money on mods. Remember when MOMO IDEA's were big? I don't know how old you are, but I had 18's back in 1994 and it was crazy. People started to copy many of my friends cars and mine, so I changed it all the time. I got sponsered by MOMO, PPI, Kicker, Phoenix Gold, AMPP of America, etc. It appears you are have some sponsers? I still enjoy it, but now OEM is easier to deal with. I will always drop my cars and get wheels. I have 545R's now in 19's and looked at the DPE's but decided to stick with what I have. I want to get an additional M3 coupe or an M5.

I am interested in the tires, but I know shipping would be a hassle. I am trying to get another set or just switch tire companies and get Toyo T1's. I don't like Pirelli's. I want another set in case I get a hole in the tire and since SO3's are on back order, I don't want to be stuck putting my OEM"s back on, since they need new tires as well. I am sending my HRE's back now to HRE to widen the lips 1 inch in front or 1/2 inch and 1 inch in rear. I have the lips. So I am putting my tires on the OEM 19's for now. I am putting the 245/35/19 and 285/30/19 on them. A little wider than they (BMW ) wants you to put on, but I know it works
