icelink?? and Sat questions

What is "icelink" and is it true you can control an ipod with steering wheel controls with it? I am thinking of doing some upgrades to my H/K and if this would work it would be great.

Also, I have a 2001, How can I add Xm or sirius easily? I know my headunit does not support it but I am sure there has to be another way. Thanks for your help

Woudl you just be able to leave the ipod in the trunk if you wanted since you just change the songs with the controls, or do you need to push play and everything?

Its supposed to come with a docking station. It uses only 1 plug for all controls and audio output, instead of 2 seperate lines (top and bottom) like the current icelink.
