Question 19in tires compared to 18in tires...that is the question

if u took a 19in tire and 18in tire of the same model jus different size would the 18 last longer (more treadlife) than the 19??
might sound like a stupid ques.........but will help in my debate between 18 and 19 in rims..thanks

treadlife has nothing to do with rim size, to a certain extent. it does come down to the number of revolutions per minute, and the tire. Some tires are made better than others.

all Z-rated tires wear out fast as hell. Regardless of which kind you get they will probably wear out before 20,000 miles no matter how you drive, unless you drive like a girl then maybe 25,000 miles. I wore out my z-rated BFG KDW's on my Contour SVT in about 12,000. I hope my Conti's last long than that but I tend to drive hard.
