If it wins, people won't care how ugly it is.

I don't give a flying f#*k what it looks like as long as its quick!!! That's formula one...
For the car to be this competitive so early is such a great sign I don't care if it looks like a pacer! I give Sir Frank and P.Head credit for having the guts to go revolutionary (if also ugly) to catch and beat Ferrari!!! GO WILLIAMS! |

Everytime I read someone posting something about the FW26 being "bangle-ized", "ugly", etc it makes me sick. Ordinarily, I'd try to explain the twin-keel motivation for the nose design, but something tells me that it'd be lost on them... |

I like the FW26. Something about the nose hearkens back to the F1 cars of the 70s with the big flat fronts and single piece front spoiler.

I thought the car was absolutely BEAUTIFUL from the moment I saw the launch footage. Besides the obvious functional aspects of the design, this is a unique case where functional enhancements also make for aesthetic improvements, which is, by the way BMW's mantra.. "Form follows function". And they definitely seem to have a certain mastery for manipulating the 'form' to unparalleled design configurations.
Oh yeah, I like Bangle's designs.

i read that in order to run this new suspensionh setup, they needed to completly remove the nose, hence the wooly mammoth looking front. oh, btw, i consistently turned out faster lap times than all the other cars, including ferrari, so i dont really care what an F1 car looks like, not like im gonna be driving one
