Possible to upgrade HK 6X9 subs?
OK, I know some like and some dislike the HK sound system. I'm pretty happy with it, it sounds a hell of a lot better then the Bose system in my buddy's new RX8. Anyway, I do notice some distortion when I crank songe with heavy base. Is it possible to upgrade the 6x9 subs in the rear deck? Is it worth it to do so? Anyone know what kind are in there right now?

you could upgrade them w/ 6x9 Kickers that Crescent_City was selling in the FS I.C.E. section

You could also repalce the 6x9's with some stealthboxes and a small amplifier to power them up. Do a search on this forum or check www.jlaudio.com
