Alpine IVA-D900

Hey guys,
I was recently going to get a really good hook up on the Alpine IVD-900 Unit from a friend but it fell through. After all the research I am still thinking of the unit everyday. What is the best price one can find on this unit. I would prefer an authorized dealer but it all comes down to price for me. Also is unit the best unit I can put in my car for the money with a dvd player?

you don't need an authorize dealer, they'll charge you more. Here's what i've found out. the warranty is only 1yr not very long if you ask me. but, if you get it from an unauthorize dealer you'll have to pay $250 for any repairs. I paid $1500 for my unit factory sealed box. it's been a year no problems and even if something went wrong the $250 is nothing compared to the 2500$ the unit was selling at last year. anyway, I bought my unit off of ebay from a high seller.
Here's a good deal $1569 they're a pretty good audio reseller. bought a from them 5 times so far.
