Opinion on Diamond Audio speakers
Was looking at a set of Diamond Audio s600 6.5" component speakers...anyone here have them installed? Opinion on the sound quality? Also, anyone install them in the doors? ...will they fit and how did you handle the huge crossover box?

Diamond is one of the best manufacturers out there.
M6s fit with no major modifications. |

The G.O.A.T. is Baccckkkkk!

Good speakers and work great in the factory locations. Though i'd suggest the M3 or Hex line and completely skip over the M6 speakers as we've honestly never found em to be any better than the M3's for the money difference. M6 subs are good but components or coax are ahhh....

Thanks! I couldn't resist them after hearing them at a local dealer...who, by the way, wanted $599. a pair!! I bought them on eBay for $279. for the pair (brand new) and even had the choice of silk or aluminum twweeters...what a deal for these excellent speakers.

question: for those that have installed these, or other component speakers in their doors - where do you put the crossover unit?

I have HEX s600 in the front and m6 with Hex s600 crossovers in the back.
They sound real clear and right up on your ear. I highly recommand them. |

does anyone read my p0sts?

Yeah, I'm inclinded to agree about the M6. I had them for about a year and grew tired of them very quickly. The Hex i.e. S line is much better.

What's the sound like on these DA speakers? I'm looking for speakers with "bright" sound that will fit into factory locations. Looking to do a stealth install here.. Any suggestions? I thought 6" won't fit without major modification?

If you want bright, go with MB Quarts. Generally, metal type tweeters such as titanium or aluminum are brighter while a softer dome, silk, are generally warmer and less harsh. If you want a brighter sound, the Diamond Hex line offers an aluminum tweeter option.
