Yeah, I'm flying in. Let me know where you guys staying, I haven't worked on it yet. I wouldn't mind hanging with you guys, I might even change my seats, altough I really like the first turn b/c it's the main attraction at the begining of the race.

Considering there are about what, 300,000 people there for the race... and Indy isn't all that big... Check out St. Elmo's Steakhouse downtown if you have money burning a hole in your pockets. Try the Shrimp Cocktail too. Burn a hole right through your stomach lining...

Hey guys Im going too, this will be my second year there and its a blast...I too will be seating in front of turn one..we should exchange numbers so we can have some beers or something..Fortunately I will be flying from Canada as I will be there for the Race as well, not to brag but thats my spring break for me and my Bro..Two races back to back what can a man ask for...let me know if you want to hook up..Ive been there like three times once for PRI and two for F1..

I would be down for that. The more the merrier. Maybe we should wear E46fanatics name tags so we can spot each other easier? j/k

you don't need to go through all that(changing seats). we can all hang afterwards somewhere if you guys want. Saturday night i guess since everyone will be there by then. we'll figure something out

okay fellas, i am all set. i just reserved rooms for the weekend. i will be staying at the Sheraton in Indy. Address is 8787 keystone crossing for anyone else that is looking for rooms. Their rates are in between $200-250/night, which is not really that bad considering some of the other rates i have seen($390/night) I believe its pretty close to the track also.

I went last year, and had VIP passes, got to chill with Tom Purves for 2 days, Penske, and all the drivers in the back!! Was a super rediculous time.....I'll be going again this year

i'd say very packed....i was there @ the 500 in '96. I pretty much had the same tickets...padock seats, which is right under the VIP box, so you get shade from sun or from the rain, also its right across from the pits, so you get to see the crews in action. Im really thinking bout going this year for a change...havet seen F1 yet. Im still debating whether I want to come a day early and watch qualifying and find somewhere to overnight, or camp off-field like I would @ Nazareth

The more I think about it, the more anxious I get. I cannot wait to go. It would def. be cool to go with a couple bimmers to Indy. I see you are from Jersey, we can get a little caravan going

Good luck Getting Pit passes is super difficult...I'll sell you my BAR/Honda one . I wanted to gaff some of their CF stuff, but I don't steal, and when i asked if I could have a small item they said no . Oh well, maybe this year...f

figure out where you are staying, we could meet up or something...I know that the BMW people and alot of the teams stay at the Westin Downtown

Autograph yes. Tires no. The tires are prototypes and they all have serial numbers that must be scanned in and out. Each tire is priceless. You think Bridgestone would just let you walk away with a tire they're working on? What if you were working for Michelin? It would be nice... but unfortunately impossible.

I think the Schummi in red is going to win.
