Mounting cd changer and/or nav under a sub box

I am trying to layour my ICE install. I will have a sub box, probably with 2 10inch subs. My calcs show, that in theroy there is enough space to mount the cd changer and navi under the sub box. So it would look like this

-------------------
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxx Sub Box xxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
------------------
cdc xxxxxxx navi
-------------------

Anybody tried doing this type of setup or would the subs cause to much vibration.

Any info appreciated.

thanks,

rob

There really is no way to guess if it will cause problems. I would try to avoid it if you have any alternatives, but if you are really set on doing it that way, try to isolate the changer/navi from the box. If possible, don't mount them directly on the box. Maybe you could put an piece of wood on the floor to mount them to and then build the box around it, without directly touching them. I have done it many times without problems, while there have been a couple times when I have seen skipping problems when changers are mounter directly on the box.
