Battery Draining.

Hello. I checked all the fuses and can't figure out what's draining the battery.
and Can some one tell me what it is?
It's placed on trunk(battery side) and the positive wire from the battery goes in to this black box. and I need to know what is that wire coming out from that box.(on the right side of the black box)

PLease help me.

What have you added to your car (CD changer, etc.)

Sounds like the car is not going into sleep mode, some Cd changers will do that.

The black box disconnects the second wire in case your car is in an accident, cutting power to most of the car (basic functions such as blinkers and locks still get power from the main wire). For more details, check your manual on how the feature works.

I think I found out the problem.
When the battery is dying the climate control automaticaly turns on an show 73 dgree. Can it be the problem? I saw a post about battery draining necause of the climate control, but it was 330.
and I do have full system with cap,cd changer, dsp..., but I wired from the circuit breaker.
When I check the draining, I shut off the systems power, so it's not the problem.
What I know is Something from the factory wiring causimg this.
Help me out.

There is a recall for this, ask your dealer if your car is affected.

How old is the battery? Maybe the battery is bad. You might want to take it out and take it to an auto parts store. Most places will check the battery for free.

Do you have any aftermarket equipment (radio, alarm, lights, radar detector, etc)? If you take the car to a dealer, they will try to blame it on any off this stuff, whether it really is the problem or not.

If the car is under warranty and you do not have any aftermarket equipment, then have the dealer check it out.
