(Stock) E46 Quarter Mile ET's...

Just curious I've never been to the track, but I have a couple friends with 996 Carreras (non turbo), I burn them in my 04 E46. I'm stock. Apparently Lee Matthew's M is stock but from what I've read he has quite a few mods, he has exhaust mods, ecu upgrade, under-drive pulley's, suspension and SSR's which are considerably lighter than the factory 19's, I don't consider Lee stock, he hit 12.49 @ 109.3

Has anyone ran in the quarter mile??? Any high 12's, low low 13's. Thanks...

I have the stock exhaust on my car. When it 100% stock, rims and no weight removed it ran 12.72 @ 107 mph.

Thanks guys. Yes that is my car. I'll let you guys know when I'm going back to the track. I hope to have one of Eurobahns intakes for my next dragstrip outing. It sounds like a great piece.

MotorTrend Ran 13.18 @ 107mph when they tested the 2001 m3. That was the main reason I bought my car.

I sure will. Every time I go I always post it a few days before. I still can't get anyone to show up.

E46 M3 SMG quarter mile times.

In and out of corners the SMG is incredible. Just curious to know what the Quarter Mile Times are for SMG? My understanding is that it's only .2 seconds slower than the manual M3... but that doesn't seem to be the case if there are guys hitting mid 12's in the manual.

Anyone hit a low 13 in SMG?

I heard there was a chip for the M3 transmission that would help put 10% more power down, but you have to have the flywheel, lsd, and gears.

The only way to get our cars to run that fast is high rpm launches on a good hooking track.

Kind off the subject however, I have a down pipe, header, high flow cat and exhaust on order. The S54 pulls nice... I want to make it pull harder though... I'm not in the market for a S/C I want to crank as much N/A horsepower out of the engine as possible. All I want is too hit 12's
