So Did My CAR Really Run a 14.1 Quarter Mile?
Me and sailwind were taking out my CDV today and we were talking about my run. I ran a 14.8 @ 93.10 mph. My reaction time was .708 seconds. So did my CAR really run a 14.1 quarter mile? Or am I NOT supposed to factor our my reaction time?

no i don't think you calculate RT into the total 1/4 time...correct me if im wrong but I don't think the 1/4 time starts timing till your car actually moves off the start.

you ran a 14.8.. its ok i ran that bad the first time i wnet to the track with my 330 also, it took me a while to master the launch with the non lsd and drive by wire. im a running low 14's now...

honestly i dump the clutch at around 1900-2000 rpms.. too much rpms and i lose traction on one side and the start sux

the car bogs a little and i usually spin both wheels a bit.. no more then a chirp really, i guess its how quickly i give it gass after i pop the clutch that lets me launch the car good.. i messed around with it for a while before i got it pretty good. id do it at stop lights and go to about 40 mph. my clutch is still holding strng even witha little bit of abuse... go out and try different stratigies.. it will come to you

yeah man that guy was prolly talking about your 60 ft times...if you lower your 60 ft times it will impact your 1/4 times

perfect reaction time anyway is .500, so any faster than that and it's early, right?
