I have almost 4K on them, they do grip very well and the tread still looks pretty good.
they feel like it has a stiffer side wall than ES100. Quote:

nitto neogens 245/45/zr17 they handle extremly well on dry pavement or in rain.

Cooper Zeons. XS2 225 55 16. I love em.. Best bang for the buck abotu 550$ all teh way around
