I've got Hamann Race and it's just a little bit darker than my matte chrome trim. I feel it would be almost a perfect match for the Titanium-finish trim. Be prepared to shell out quite a few clams for it, though. I paid around $200.

I like that hamann knob...Where can i pick on up from? What should I expect to pay? I'm looking at the ACS chrome/aluminum knob, but im holding out for the store to let them go along with the UUC SSK at a lower cost....I dont know why I expect any discount, guess im stupid...

This is a special anodizing we had color-matched to the factory titanium E46 M3 trim. The match is really good, as close as one could expect matching a plastic finish versus a finish for real metal.

We're not offering these for sale yet, but I do have a couple of sets.

Anybody interested?

Hey Rob, so that matches the shadow titanium trim for the M3's? Anything matching the titanium trim in the 2002 sedans?

I'm sure it could be matched. Brused Aluminum is pretty close already. I imagine if they were bead blasted and then anodized, the finish would be even closer.

Good question. Has anybody seen the two trim colors side-by-side and can comment how close they are?

The Titanium-finish trim that comes stock in 330s without the Premium pkg looks VERY close to the optional matte chrome trim. The finish on both looks "bead-blasted" more than "brushed". The only difference is that the Titanium-finish trim has just a HINT of tan in it.

The M3 Titan Shadow trim that you matched is MUCH darker than either of the other two.

how about these?

1) if you don't mind spending a lot, the z8 shift knob (with leather matching your interior of course):

2) or for a lot less, the m-shift knob. this is the one i have. it's matte chrome. pretty close match to the trim:
