Hmmm.... which will I run today, the C5 or the 125cc 6 speed shifter kart?

Shifter karts aren't allowed where I go because of the noise ordinance. I'd really like to get started in a karting league but I can't find any good resources. Racing every other month doesn't cut if for me. Plus I'm not sure how karting licenses work.

I've done some arrive and drive endurance karting with friends. Find enough people to make up a team, pay your entry fee, show up, and drive. Some places will supply everything from the karts to safety equipment. Someone on my team dumped a kart so hard that he broke the steering wheel with his chest and pretzled the rear axle. They rolled another kart out in 2 minutes and we were back in the race.
