This may be a newbie question but.. I noticed elsewhere in the forum (after searching
 ) with Alpine changers and the cabling you'll get delays between tracks and the display always says "CD01"Is that the case with this Sony unit? Quote:

If you've already got a CD player you would need to see if you can wire in two changers, you would need to adapt the cabling (if this is possible??? maybe post to electricians on the forums???).
What I would do is unplug your stock CD changer, replace with the Sony MP3 player and store your stock player until you sell your car. When you sell swap back to original and use the MP3 in your new BMW. Thats just my personal opinion. The bracket was made for an E46 Sedan to fit in the trunk compartment where you put your Sat Nav. I think the CI has this compartment same size you would have to check. If not, you could always just put it where the original changer went. I can send to the Netherlands.
