info on e36 to e46 front end conversion

That's what I need. I drive a 93 325i sedan and I wanna convert the front end into an e46. Not a complete conversion, I'm going to keep my e36 m3 bumper but I want the hood, grill, and the head lights and the e46 m3 side fenders. any pictures similar to this type of conversion available? how much would it cost? what other parts do I need? I live in the DC area, what would be competent shop besides Wagonworks?

i would not recommend this. i have seen the pics, and they are not good. all out of proportion.

yeah thats where i do the most posting. What I like about the e46 is the hood and the headlights ... i like the back of the e36s though. Right now I'm trying to see variations of it to help me decide if I actually want to do it or not.

The sedan front bumper, coupe headlights, and M3 side grills. What an interesting mix.

And based on the funny angle of the front grille in relation to the rest of the car, the hood almost looks like it might be from an E38.

Ehm... ewwwww????

Im not actually sure if this is worse or better than the Honda M3.... :\ But this is not high up on my "dream cars that i'd rather watch than porn" cars...

+1 on the actually just buying an E46, they arent that expensive anymore. Unless you live in Europe where they cost twice what a US M3 does

OP, I just have to vote that even if it's possible to do and the sizes of things are close enough to make it practical, I love the e36, still, 4.5 years after having lost my '92 325i.

Please keep yours on the road as is so I can maybe see it someday!

If done right it looks pretty decent and not that bad imo. Look at this video. He needs led taillights though.
