what type of dyno should someone expect with a 328? Obviously if the boost is adjustable that would make a difference, but what are the difference in figures between 6.5 psi and 8 and how dangerous is the 8 on your car. My 328i has 82,000 miles on it but I got a brand new tranny like 12k ago. I'm very interested and in so cal.

ok, I now you have been asked a billion questions, but I just want to double check a few things. The only thing that this kit is missing is the pulley(which I know I can pick up), and since I have a 325, I would need to get new couplers. Is the belt included, or is that something I have to get as well(I know its pretty cheap, just double checking)? As for software, I really wonder if I HAVE to use ESS? I am thinking of getting custom software, like a piggyback type deal. Do you know if this kit would work fine without ESS's software? Have you mentioned that to ESS, or not really? I really would rather NOT send my ECU across the big pond if you know what I mean!
So we get the Blower, the Bracket, the Injectors, the Filter, and the Coupler's that fit a 323 right? One other question, do you know if this kit would be able to get hooked up to a FM intercooler? I am guessing that would take more custom work cause then I would have to relocate the filter to the other side of the engine bay. Sorry for all these questions, but I am thinking about going through with this. Your price is obviously VERY VERY hard to beat. I just want to know how much work I am getting my self into And finally(

you would just need one new coupler, longer belt is included...you can get custom software...yes FM is possible...ess even has a FM upgrade for these kits now...I think you can get a good 60k until another rebuild...I've heard you can go even longer but thats what I would do for piece of mind...
let me know...time is ticking =) |

That is a SICK price for a SC kit. You guys must be on crack if you don't jump on this.
One thing though. Adding a FM intercooler isn't really an option. Ess has a liquid to air one that mounts on top of the engine (looks retarded) but i haven't seen any FMICs from ESS for their Vortech line. I heard its alot harder on the Vortech units because the boost output pipe is all the way on top while other kits with fmic's are on the bottom. Not enough room to route fmic piping. Either way, sick kit, sick price
