BEWARE!!: Shady A$$ sellers on this forum

What up everyone, I just recently bought used rims from another seller, Tucker aka, Brady Wells from Texas, on this forum. I'm sure many of you've seen em- the BBS RG-R's. Supposedly, all four rims were to be in nearly perfect condition with a small scratch on one front rim (see pics on BBS RGR about a month ago). Note: He said "payment must follow quickly" so I paid the man as soon as our deal was made. everything seemed cool and he even gave me a pretty good price. Here's where things get F*ckin shady---

Rims arrive and... aside from the one small scratch he mentioned:

1) the other front rim has two gashes on the lip, seems like he ran over a pothole or something.. (Brady says: Rims were in perfect condition when sent out, you'll have to deal with UPS on that one :thumbdwn: )

2) One of the hubcentrics on the rear wheel is damaged and I gotta order another hubcentric from BBS now (WTF??), who knows how much that's gonna cost me..

3) Are you ready for this one now??? I go ahead and decide to get the wheels mounted anyway this past weekend and whatya know... fourth and final "nearly perfect" wheel is out of round.. the balance on the wheel is off by 2.5 on one side and 3.25 on the other.. the technician tells me the wheel is out of round, not safe to drive on, and cannot be repaired.. ONLY REPLACED!!! HE brought me to the balance machine to show me the condition of the rim and it literally shook and rumbled the balancing machine..

I spoke with the 8===D Head over the phone and after going in circles for about 30 minutes :argue: , he tells me that he has absolutely nothing to do with any of the three problems on the rims and that he wouldn't help me $$$ to repair or replace any of the problems "we both knew nothing about.." I didn't know that UPS likes to open up rim boxes just to f*ck up the hubcentric and put it back as if nothing happened. btw- did they also take out the other rear wheel and play some ghetto street hockey in the parking lot with it??

It also happened to be SO CONVENIENT that "payment must follow quickly :read: ," I believe those were his exact words on the forum... now, I'm stuck with just 3 rims.. I'm thinkin of just sell my M3 now and hook up my childhood toy tricylcle w/ some badass 19"s cuz I thought us enthusiasts were supposed to look out for one another...

Brady, you just moved down a notch on my book... to negative one!!! I heard you picked up some radenergies with the money I sent you.. Are they three piece?? if they are, I hope all the bolts on your rear wheel loosen up, rip the tire apart, you lose control and dive that M3 that you don't deserve off a cliff.

stay away from SHADY WELLS of TExas

thanks bm2u,
I already made up my mind never to buy anything new or used on the forums again.. I'd rather cough up the extra bucks and have piece of mind instead of something like this SH*T..
I recently got SS s-pipe for my car as well, guy said I could pay after recieving the pipes. when they arrived both pipes had small leaks and I had to get them rewelded before installing, but the guy was cool and we both agreed on a lower price.

there are those who are legit and look after their fellow BMW enthusiasts but even so... i will never put myself through something like this again..
