Wan Li's Suck Major Asphalt
So I bought this used 325ci from a guy in So. Cal off of E-bay and he said he put new tires on it so I thought "SWEET!"... when I got there though I said "WTF? What the hell are WAN LI's?"
So I have been driving around with these tires for a while and this being my first Bimmer.. I didn't know what good handling or noise levels were but there was a weird grumbling noise when I slowed to a stop coming from the tires and also the balance of the tires felt off. I read some posts about Wan Li's and people seemed okay with them.. nothing great but nothing that negative either so I lived with them. Last week my wife says that the tires don't sound right (god bless her soul... I was waiting to hear that!) so I went to pick up some new rubber today. Ended up with some Toyo Proxes FZ4's. Night and day difference... If anyone has any comments on my tire choice.. please let me know... Maybe I should have gotten some Yoko's dB's? |

I heard Toyos were not the quiestist tires, so if you heard and felt a difference with the Toyos, Imagine if you would've gotten some PS2, Pzero Nero's.
But the Toyos are good tires, I would have went with their T1s tires, but the proxes are good for what they are. |
