Question about window tint and OEM Xenons!

Hey do any of yall have a mirror window tint on your cars and if so how do you like it? Is it a better heat rejector? I was thinking that a translucent mirror window tint would look sweet with my titanium silver paint. What do yall think? I have read some posts about the 2K2 xenons not being very blue/purple in color compared to the 2K1 xenons. Is that true and if anyone with the 2K2 xenons has a picture of what they look like I'd appreciate it if you could post the pic. Thanks.

My opinion...

I had a 35% mirror tint on my black Infiniti I30t. Now i have a 35% smoked tint in my 330Ci. I don't think that there is much of a noticable difference in keeping your vehicle cooler. I can't tell. I personally like smoked tints better. As far as the xenons, I picked up my 02' about 3 weeks ago and i can honestly say that when i first used the bi-xenons, i thought I got ripped. They looked like halogens. But they really do get bluer over time. I'm really enjoying them now. The philipps are bluer than osram. I know b/c my left xenon is philipps, and right is osram. Dealer is swapping out the osram this week. Hope this helps,

Bryan

Why do they get bluer over time? Is there a warm up period? The main reason I ordered the bixenon is for that cool blue look and I'll be pissed if they look like halogens. (especially since it cost me $700)
