Rear bumper trim / impact strip gap
There is a sizable gap in the rear bumper trim / impact strip on my 2005 330i zhp.
I have tried removing all 3 trim pieces and re-installing them as close together as possible with no luck. I was thinking about pulling out the dremel and widening the holes where the side trim clips to the bumper. That way I can slide the side trim pieces towards the center trim piece. Thoughts? |

All I've seen are like that.

Is it zhp specific? All the non-zhps I see around town have zero gap in the rear bumper trim pieces.
Any thoughts on a fix? |

I am worried that if I buy new ones I will still have the same problem.
Anyone have a zhp or a O.E.M. M-tech II bumper that does not have the gap? |

I think my gap is smaller. I'll take pics this afternoon.

John I have an 04 ZHP and she is just like that, but I too have wondered about getting that fixed as it looks like crap.

Once I get the courage to take a dremel to my bumper I am going to go that route. I will post the results once I do. Hopefully they are good.
