My Ride: E30 M3 2.5
Odometer disconnect?

I'm renting an E46 M3 and they want $0.50 for every mile past 100. I wouldn't mind disconnecting it to get a little extra playtime

Any suggestions or is it tamper-proof.

I know on my E30 M3 there is a simple sensor that also disables the speedometer. Is there a sensor on the E46? If so, where is it located and does it disable anything important? (Speedo is not important)

drive into a concrete wall going exactly 93 miles per hour..the impact will disable the odometer.

I think I'll try shooting it with the rifle.

BTW I just picked it up - awesome car. I haven't had a chance to test the handling in the beach area here but it does move pretty quick.

Definitely gets looks from the ladies

Well it turns out I didn't go over on mileage anyways, false alarm.

I did, however, have a good time topping it out:
