sometime drivers side tail liget and frnt signal stays on

Hi. Sometimes, even after key is out and I arm the alarm, the drivers side tail light and the front drivers side orange turn signal light stays on. If I then start the car and play around with the lights for a bit, then lock the car they go off. Any help is appreciated.

This is a function not a problem. While the key is off you can make either side stay on to help find where you parked at night time. Try flashing you brights while the car is off. it will turn the headlights on for 30 seconds so you can see where your walking at night

the function is for Euro when parking on a street - the streets are often small, the people park partially on sidewalk, but side of car out in street - the driver is supposed to leave those lights on

If you flash your brights after your car is off they stay on for 30 seconds. This is not what is happening. Your signal is turned on. When your car is off turn on your left or right signal/blinker. Close your door and look at your car. Whichever side you chose will be on. This is for parking on streets at night so your car doesn't get hit. Typically useful on europe on small streets

i know i was just explaining the difference between the 30 second light feature and the feature he was accidentally experiencing. didn't want him/her to be confused thinking flashing his brights is what caused it

Dredging up an old post here.

Is there a way to turn this feature off? I keep accidentally hitting the turn signal lever getting out of the car with my laptop bag and lunch box only to discover the light has been on all night. I'm afraid I am going to kill the battery sometime at an airport or something when the car is parked for multiple days, thankfully has not been a problem over night.
