2003 M3 passenger mirror moves when i move my seat

Okay i am having a pretty interesting problem. My passenger side mirror moves all the way up or to the right when i adjust my seat, now i have memory seats and i have all my Mirror's and seat positions set but when i went to switch my seat position my Passenger side mirror moves. Even if i correct it and set the mirror back where it should be, it still moves out when i switch my seat position. Any help would be appreciated.

When you say you correct it, do you mean that you place the mirror where it should be along with your desired seat position and then re-save these settings into your seat memory slot? If not, that's what I would try first. If so, do you have access to PA Soft or the like? There is some communication with the seat memory / mirror module available - it may be of help?

Lots of us have the same problem, only mine moves down when I shift to reverse.
Solution......Move the switch to one side OR the other and see if that stops it. Then leave the switch in THAT position. It fixed mine.

Of course this is a feature not a bug... for aiding in parallel parking and (hopefully) not curbing your wheels.

I re-save the seat position after i put it back. And I should note that it happens with all 3 seat positions even if I have the mirror locked or in the position they allows be mirror to go down when reversing.

The mirror moving down in reverse is a feature not a problem. You can shut this feature off but this isn't the problem I am having.
