Maybe its time to get that Beauty on a lift my friend... You can never be too sure, but its better to catch the problem before it even starts.

u know with all these screen names, would be hard to actually do something legally. real names and contact phone numbers or email address would help? subframe is hard to fix because it has to be precise measuring to make sure its aligned?

When I took my into the Dealer, they said it was a $2500 job. $400 for parts... the rest was labor. They have to take part the entire rear suspension. My dealer sent the car out to a body shop to get the work done. The work they did is really good. It looks much beefier then before.

I've heard other ppl getting it fixed for $1500 at body shops.

I think the forum names is good enough for now. A list of real names should be generated once the next step is being takened but should not be posted on a public forum. I've heard in the past where car manufacturers has used this against their owners by red flagging cars with mods in there system.

This issue is obviously not related to mods though. Bmwna will try everything to claim this, its simply just not the case. We have more people with stock cars having this occur than modded guys. Chassis cracking is something serious. Especially when it decides to break apart while your traveling at a high rate of speed or during a turn. Most people won't even know what caused the wreck assuming that the chassis was damaged during the acccident not knowing it actually caused the accident in the first place. Its going to take many lives lost and a big law suits before Bmw would step up to do anything about this unless we the owners step up.

Made an appoinment wiht the Stealeraship to chek mine out in about 2 weeks. But even if they say theres no damage, that still wont resolve the issue, because its only a matter of when the subframe starts craking not if. Guys we got fight this ****. If we all stick together, I think we might have a chance of gettig this shiot covered by BMW.
