E46 coupe speaker sizes....

Hey guys, I just put an order in yesterday on an '05 325ci. I've been searching for the number of speakers and sizes for each but came up with nothing. Hopefully you guys can help me out.

Thanks,
Steve

I heard the couple has 5.25 components in front and in the rear. Does this sound right? (I'm referring to the non-Harmon Kardon setup)

You can fit 6.5 up front and in the rear.

Up front, you are limited by depth. In the rear. you are limited by the magnet diameter. Remember just because a set of midbasses fit in the front door doesn't mean they will fit in the rear deck without cutting.

I listened to the Boston Pro60's today and fell in love with them. Does anyone have them or know if they fit? If not, I can settle with the Pro50's.

In the front you are somewhat limited by magnet diameter as well because the metal panel behind it is somewhat concave.

Right, but the lack of depth in the front speaker area will be the more common cause for a speaker not fitting.

Does any one know the "numbers" for the speaker holes for the front and rears of the E46 ci group. I bought Focal 136w for the front and back. I heard they fit well but I don't know for sure (still in the mail).
