weird, i think thats correct, i just tried it from the 8th floor of my apartment under my chin and nothing happened, then i bit down on the key and the car lit up. no, lie. mystery solved, oh and for the record, im not gonna go around biting my key. in public it will b under the chin.

Seems to have stopped working in 2010. Anybody do a DIY for this trick? Uncovering Bimmer secrets one post at a time.
