Did you make your own AUX adapter? I have a question

After reading some old threads, I found out that I can make my own AUX cable for about $5~$10. I'm using a misc. computer connector (from the cable that connects between CDROM and sound card) to hook up to the back of the HU. The connector fits pretty snug but is this secure enough? I'm afraid that it'll come loose while driving. Is there any place where I can buy the connector that's used on the OEM AUX cable? I know that thing won't come off since its held by a blue clip.
