URGENT will this in-dash unit fit my E46?

Hi guys!

I've recently bought a rear view camera for my E46 sedan,
so now i want a monitor to use it as a "projector" for the rear view.

I've found on ebay this unit :

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170322537839&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&viewitem=

But i don't know if it will work on my car,
if it will fit exactly in the dash as a replacement to my business cd/radio unit
and
if it will be an easy DIY install/connection !

I know i asked much,
but i really like a unit like the above one or a unit like some that have a small screen on the face of them ,either on the left side or right.
Sorry for my english!

Yes that headunit will fit but you will need the following to do the install:

So that's all?

With these 3 parts i will be able to install the unit correctly and flush with the dash?

Also,
the first part that actually "anchors" the unit inside the dash,

is necessary whatever the size of the unit is?
Because i am a little confused.

Also,
do you suggest another unit with the RCA input/ouput for a rear view camera ,that is better?

Thank's for your help,

Kostas

Yes those parts will be flush with your dash.

To use the trim kit. You have to put the headunit inside the slot first. Then you put the trim kit over it. If there is a little space between the headunit and the trim kit, then use that small little piece in between the two. This will prevent rattling.

I never heard of that brand of headunit. The only headunits I would recommend are either alpine or kenwood. Those are the only two brands I tried out to. A little more expensive, but they are great products. If you have the money, I would go for an alpine or kenwood hu.
