$55 vs $80 vs. $90 vs. $280 - what's the difference in these DDE Kits

Just a quick summary to save you guys some time and me some emails
They all are same brightness roughly - enhanced V2 is a little brighter.

$280 - Wheelpower Phosphyre Halos Enhanced V2
-The only kit with Enhanced V2 OEM style Rings & Truss bar w/ clips
-Full lifetime warranty
-Superior Packaging
-Brand name, tested and trusted kit
-6000K Rings, better match & more attractive color
-COMPLETE kit, all PNP connectors included
-Free Remote Kit coming soon
-Reflective metal backing plate coming soon
-Allows more light through than any other enhanced kit
-Less fragile
-20,000 hours life guaranteed

===================================================

$90 - Jlevi SW Enhanced DDE Kit
-EXACT same as above, with enhanced V1 upgrades & opaque backing to reduce glare.
-Thinner ring covers compared to $280 kit
-Out of stock temporarily

===================================================

$80 - Jlevi SW DDE Kit
-Limited warranty ($10 per part for a year)
-No plug and play connectors as of right now
-Wiring Harness w/ heat resistant covering
-Remote kit capable
-In stock ready to ship
-8000K Bare Rings w/ truss bar, no enhanced

===================================================

$55 shipped - Generic DDE kit
Same as above, only:
-No harness
-No PNP connectors or wire taps
-Just 4 rings w/ clips and 2 ballasts
-Great for spare parts
-Available only to E46Fanatics (see sponsor forum)
-8000K Bare Rings w/ truss bar & clips, no enhanced

Please note that NONE of these kits fit the 2004+ Coupes!!!!!!
The only kit that does is the DDE Lightning kit for 04 coupes, it's $250.

Thanks for reading!

We'll probably do some sort of deal with it when it comes back - I have to get lower pricing on it this time though, which means I'll need to take a huge quantity.

Anyways, it should be here in 2 weeks or less.

Jon, thx for the comparision. I bet you get a million damn emails a day about this. I will say this, if the next batch of 90's comes with a remote kit, there is no way for once I can not resist ordering (I may have to actually buy something from you, heaven forbid). I say this because I know I will sway your producers/jlevi pricing Hey, think of it this way, I can get some high res. pics of your DDE's on the track next year, now that would be a damn cool sig. Anyway, keep up the good work.

Any new news on when the new high dollar kit is going to be out, and what pricing is going to be like? Same as the Wheelpower kit?

From my understanding, the rings in the P46s are NOT the same as the Wheel Power Phos. Halos. They are very similar though.

PS - Jon when I read the thread title, I was getting ready to slap the tag on it, until I realized you where the one posting it, to help explain things.

BMWE46Fl - Same rings, but they are mounted differently in the P46's, IE they enhanced upgrades are one with the headlight. Kind of like meditation in your headlight... be one with the bezel, oh grasshopperDDE.

Anyways, if they're both on the same side your ballast is fried - contact your resller.

thanks jlevi
so that means when i order new ones i need to order the wheelpower replacements right?
oh and its not a fried ballast becuase it is the inner one on the driver side and the outer one on the passenger side so it looks pretty odd, just a good thing my car is in the shop so i dont have to drive it like that

Interesting. It could always be a connection problem
Otherwise, contact your retailer (if that's us, you know how to reach us ) and check it out with them - only they have records of when you purchased and what color the rings are
