Jon, I'm sorry, you left out some stuff on the better quality product:

Some can speculate on why a product is more expensive but here are facts:

WP Halos - 33000-36000mcd tested (that's about 50% brighter than the generic one we test that everyone else sells for more). The regular ones are about 25000mcd. It's all tested in our labs, then tested again when we ship from the warehouse.

Second - WP Halos have a lifespane of 20000 hours, not 10000, so yes, while it's relatively insignificant, we're talking 2X the lifespane.

Third - WP Halos come with not only greater retailer support, but also a lifetime warranty. This is a recent edition.

Fourth - The rings we use are made of Pyrex, the strongest glass, that allows them to be thinner and more vibration resistant.

Finally, the WP Halos product is just better fitting, better quality plastics, and better overall. We have now seen 8 different generic knock offs of our product, they are good alternatives, but they are not the same.

Great post, Matt!
Even I learned something from that one, and I've been selling halos for about 18 months now

Will these work with auto leveling non-xenons? The $90 pair?

1-2 weeks.
Remote kit is extra at this time - this may change.

They will work with autolevelling no problem.

What do you want me to say Sherif?
If you don't value a lifetime warranty then return the product for an 85% refund.

jon i asked for a ring and i was told to pay money.
i was told to pay ~35.00 for an extra ring since mine is broken.
i have the 4300 k, and is there a way to upgrade to the 6k?

Warranty does not cover you breaking rings - and I highly doubt you have 4300K rings bud

You'd need the enhanced ones... there's no way to just "add on" the enhanced

Sweet post. Thanks Jon.

Looks like I'm gonna hop in line to wait for the next release of the coveted $90 JLevi kit.
