My Ride: E46 M3 CSL
New to this forum

Hi all, new to this forum - thanks to TWD for the recommendation - but not new to E46 - first one was a 318i exec way back in 2002 then a 325Ci 4 years ago and recently purchased a shelf queen M3 CSL done 1415kms!!

Quick question - any idea about a good Australian site/company that sells decent AP or Brembo or any other recommended Big brake kits?

Alvin

^ welcome! another SA member yay! Don't think I've seen a CSL in Adelaide yet. What colour is yours? Sorry can't help with your question but I'm sure other members can chime in. Any reason for BBK upgrade?

It's Silvergray.

Big Brakes more for use at Mallala - not sure how true it is yet as I personally haven't had a chance to track it but apparently biggest issue with the CSL is the brakes fading after several laps!

Are you or other SA members here members of the BMW Drivers Club South Australia?

It is confirmed that the new M3 and M4 will be powered my an inline-six not the V6. It will of course have turbo and will produce around 450hp.

Quick question guys,

Btw - loving the CSL ABOVE.

I pulled out the plugs on my speedo to install some rings then relised I don't have enough for this so quickly put it all back in but now my temperature reader is stuck at 40 and I can't go pass the temperature on the dash with the button on the stalker.

Shook: huh?

If the needle does not move at all or only a little bit, it might be getting stuck. Try pulling it up a little so that it is not pressed flush against the gauge plate itself.

As in - on the steering wheel, the indicator stalker allows you to change from like 100km/per tank - temp - time and all that crap. That doesn't even change it?
